So, I went to Prague for a few days with my awesome boyfriend Alex.
Prague is an absolutely stunning country…. However, the picturesque view was overtaken by the fact that Alex proposed.
It was dark and we decided that after a long day at the zoo and a big dinner that we wanted to see Charles Bridge (my favourite part of Prague) all lit up in the evening and Alex wanted to get some photographs, as we started strolling along Alex stopped to change the lens on his camera, or so I thought…
It was pitch black, with just the lighting from the street and the beautiful street lamps along the bridge, it just started to snow and Alex half on his knee and half standing up produced an absolute beautiful white gold and diamond ring from a blue velvet box and asked me to marry him, in public, in snow, in my favourite place in Prague.
Of course, I said yes.
Needless to say, I’ve VERY excited and I’ve already started planning and I want to say a big thank you to our family and friends for their overwhelming support :)
I’ll try not to bleet on about it *too* much.

Today has been a mix of crazy emotions, it’s quite overwhelming.
I am sad, I am jealous, I am crazy, I am falling, I am happy.
I also feel like a M$ advert.
I have never felt like this about anyone before, it’s nice but weird, I think I like it.

Weird weekend…

I’ve had a somewhat weird weekend, my emotions have been all over the place.

I was away with my boyfriend, which was awesome and we were having fun, then I got some bad news, this made me sad, then I was kinda okay again, but then I turned into a crazy bitch for an hour or so… I hate being a chick, hormones are a complete pain in the arse.

Fact.

<3 this song. <3 Nerdcore.

Today, I feel happy.
This is good.

I have a new job (starting soon), a great boyfriend, I laugh and smile a lot more, I can start making plans, I have an ace family and the most beautiful niece, all in all, things aren’t so bad.

Plus, I’m going to the zoo soon, HELLSYEAH! ^_^

Wow.

Well, I started this year by saying “I hope that this year is better than last” and with one quite big exception, it’s not really been better than last year.

I need to get a move on with some sort of longer term plan as it’s August in five days (Much to my surprise :S) and I only have four more months to sort myself out. Erp.

GOGOGO!

I would like to go to Chester Zoo… for the two reasons shown in photographs.

They has bears and giraffes, I love both.

Hmm..

…Okay, so today I went to Chesterfield with my parents, it was a little like getting into a time machine and programming it to 1989, very odd indeed. There was a Primark (which I hate, let it be known) that was about as big as our living room. The ‘market’ was nothing more than a few dozen stalls of CRAP and their shopping centre was a co-op shopping centre, the clothes departments in there made BHS look ‘trendy’.

All in all, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re wanting a place full of excitement or to go on a shopping trip, but let it be said that there are some beautiful buildings, well from what I could see through the rain, anyway.

The nice thing was that we got to drive through Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton to come home, all of which have the most beautiful views, so that was nice too.

Overall, a pleasant day out.

But, it’s kind of given me a bug, a bug to go on a day trip again. My boyfriend is ‘fond’ (for want of a better word) of photography and for a while now, I’ve been trying to think of a place that we can go on a day trip (or a cheap weekend away) so that he can take his camera stuff and just take a variety of photos, but also somewhere that has enough for me to enjoy it enough to not mind him running off every couple of minutes to take the said photos. I’m very easily pleased, so it doesn’t have to be somewhere amazing. I think I may just get a map and have a look for somewhere that neither of us have been to before. Hmm.

I certainly won’t be suggesting Chesterfield though ^_~

I saw this and it made me smile. Men are clev0rs!

I love Flight of the Conchords, no matter what time of day it is, they never fail to make me smile.

Excellent.
